Lhe sixteenth edition of Tomorrowland kicked off in Boom, in the Flemish region, this Friday afternoon. This year, the electronic music festival takes over the De Schorre provincial domain for three consecutive weekends. The start of the festival was pleasant and not too hot, according to the organizers.
Big names like Armin Van Buuren, Hardwell and Major Lazer are expected on the main stage on Friday, a 53 meter high and 270 meter wide installation called “The Reflection of Love”.
According to tradition, it was built entirely by the Tomorrowland team. Tomorrowland also has 13 other stages, big and small.
The motto of this edition, also entitled “The reflection of love”, aims to radiate positivity and solidarity around the festival, after two difficult years for the event and for festival goers due to the health crisis linked to the Coronavirus pandemic. . Like every year, the stage will also present an impressive light show.

Some 600,000 festival goers from all over the world are expected at De Schorre over the next three weekends. The festival is sold out. Saturday and Sunday, Dimitri Vegas & Como Mike, Alesso, Kölsch, Lost Frequencies, Marshmello and Martin Garrix appear.
The second and third weekends feature a similar schedule, but with minor changes. Tiësto and Paul Kalkbrenner will be there, among others.
